Your computer, fixed today, without anybody coming over
Most computer problems don’t need a man in a van. They need somebody who knows what they’re looking at.
I work on your computer with you, remotely. You see every move I make on your own screen. No waiting three days for an appointment window. No unplugging a tower and hauling it to a shop. No stranger in your living room.

What I fix
- Slow computers — the real cause, not a tune-up that lasts a week
- Won't start, won't update, won't shut down
- Pop-ups, junk software, browser hijacks
- Email that quit working
- Printers, Wi-Fi, and the things that are supposed to just work
- New computer setup, and moving your files off the old one
- Backups, so this stops being a crisis
- One-on-one teaching — including AI tools and ChatGPT — at the same rate
What happens
You book a time
I send you a short list — a couple of links, a couple of things to have handy. Five minutes of your time, and it means your paid hour goes to fixing instead of setting up.
We connect
On Windows there's nothing to download at all — we use a tool already built into your computer. You let me in, you watch the whole thing, and you can end it with one click any time.
I work, and I tell you what I'm doing
Most people get as much out of the explanation as they do out of the repair. Ask me anything while I'm in there.
You pay for the time it took
One hour minimum. Finish the main thing in twenty minutes and the rest of the hour is still yours — bring me the printer, the phone, the slow laptop in the other room.
The honest part
If I get in there and find the machine isn’t worth what the fix would cost, I will tell you that, and I’ll tell you early, before the clock runs up. I’d rather lose an hour’s work than take your money for a computer you ought to be replacing.
If it’s something you could do yourself in five minutes, I’ll show you how.
That’s not a sales line. It’s the only way a one-man operation in a small town stays in business.
Who I am
I’m Topher. I run MixedMakerShop out of Hot Springs. I build websites, software and AI tools for small businesses, and I’ve been fixing computers for people since 2000.
I have MS, which is why I work remotely, and honestly, it makes me better at it. I’ve spent years finding ways to get things done when the usual way isn’t available.
