I sit with you, one on one, on your own device, and I go as slow as you like. You leave knowing how to do it yourself, with the steps written down so you don’t have to remember them.

How I teach
Ask it twice. Ask it five times.
Nobody learns a new phone in one sitting. I'd much rather you ask again than nod along and get stuck tomorrow.
Written steps you keep
After the session you get the steps in plain words, with no jargon, for the things you want to do again on your own.
Your hands stay on it
On a computer you watch every move on your own screen. On an iPhone or iPad you share your screen with me and do the tapping yourself, which is how it sticks.
Scams, called out
If a pop-up, email or text looks wrong, send me a screenshot before you click anything. I'll tell you straight whether it's real.
Who I am
I’m Topher. I’ve helped people around Hot Springs with their computers since 2000, back when it was Cook’s Computer Service. These days I run MixedMakerShop, and I still think the best part of the job is the moment something clicks for somebody.
Questions
Do you come to the house?
No. All of my help is remote. It works because you're learning on your own device, in your own chair, with nobody waiting in the hall.
What if I'm not good with technology at all?
That's who this is for. I start from wherever you are. There's no test and no wrong question.
Can my son or daughter book it for me?
Yes. Plenty of people set it up for a parent. Tell me what they're struggling with and I'll take it from there.
How long is a session?
One hour minimum. If the main thing takes twenty minutes, the rest of the hour is yours for anything else on the list.
